Is there a fee to join?
No. There are no dues, fees, or donations of any kind. Ever.
What if I can only attend occasionally?
It depends on your situation. If your specialty is not held by an Active Member, you are welcome to attend as a Regular Guest — no limit, no commitment. If your specialty is already held, you may attend up to two meetings, after which we will reach out personally and ask whether you’d like to be placed on the waitlist.
What if my profession is already represented by a member?
You are welcome to attend up to two in-person meetings to get a feel for the group. After that, we reach out personally and ask whether you’d like to be on the waitlist. If yes, you’ll be the first person we contact when that seat opens. If not, there’s no obligation and no follow-up. Either way, meeting reminders stop after those two visits, and Regular Guest status is not available.
What time do you meet and where?
We meet **in person** on the
1st Thursday of each month at 7:30 AM at Panera Bread in South Barrington.
Our monthly **Zoom** session is the
3rd Thursday of each month, also at 7:30 AM.
Dates occasionally shift around holidays — sign up for email reminders to always know the current schedule.
Do I have to be a business owner?
No. Professionals of all kinds are welcome — employees, self-employed, and business owners alike.
Is this only for Christians?
No, but our community is rooted in Christian faith, and our discussions reflect that. Someone does pray at our meetings. Being a Christian is not a requirement for membership, but our culture and values are explicitly faith-based — you should expect that to be part of every meeting.
Is this a formal organization?
No. We are an informal community — no corporate structure, no board, no contracts. We are simply people who choose to meet.
